When I want to give my body a natural wellness boost, ginger is always my go-to. This spicy little root packs a mighty punch! It’s naturally anti-inflammatory, soothing for digestion, and packed with antioxidants, which is why I always keep it stocked in my kitchen. Whether I’m sipping on warm ginger tea, adding a zingy kick to my stir-fries, or blending it into my morning wellness shots, ginger is one of those powerhouse ingredients that does it all. So, here are a few of my favorite ginger recipes that I keep in rotation during the chilly season.

Ginger Shots (Better Than Store Bought!)
These little ginger shots are my go-to when I feel a cold creeping in. Just one sip gives you that fiery kick in the throat (in the best way) and leaves you feeling instantly energized.
Sweet and spicy, this candied ginger reminds me of the treats you sneak from the jar, but with a wellness boost. Keep a stash on hand for when you’re craving something sweet, but also want that natural digestive support.
This golden-hued jamu juice is what saved me when I was incredibly sick while traveling in Indonesia. It blends ginger and turmeric into a wellness tonic that feels like you’re nourishing your body from the inside out.
If you’ve ever had sushi, you know how refreshing a bite of quick pickled ginger can be. But beyond cleansing the palate, it’s also fantastic for gut health. I love making a quick batch at home. It adds that zippy, fresh kick to rice bowls, stir-fries, or even a simple salad.
This carrot ginger soup is my absolute favorite during the fall and winter months. The sweetness of the carrots paired with the gentle heat of ginger makes this feel-good meal both comforting and restorative. It’s almost like a hug for your immune system on chilly days!
